Charlotte and Sam's Wedding At The Fig House, Middleton Lodge.
Like lots of other 2020 wedding couples, Charlotte and Sam had the additional worries about their wedding day brought about by the ongoing global pandemic. Like so many other couples they were forced to change their planned date. But before we could get to the rearranged date an opportunity arose where Charlotte and Sam could say their "I do's", on New Years Eve at their chosen local wedding venue, the stunning Fig House at Middleton Lodge, North Yorkshire.
The Fig House.
Located within the Middleton Lodge Estate, The Fig House is a beautifully restored wedding venue. With rustic interiors and floor to ceiling views across the two acre Walled Garden, The Fig House is the perfect choice as a wedding venue. With a choice of cottages rooms from which to prepare and get excited for for your big day. Charlotte and bridesmaids were a short walk from The Fig House in The Head Gamekeepers Cottage.
It was fab to once again work alongside some wonderful wedding industry professionals, with hair styled by Jodie Dawson and makeup from Jess Fleming and Poppy Lear
With a wedding ceremony planned for 4pm, the Fig House looked more spectacular as the afternoon went on. The result of a beautiful combination of the festive season decorations, the setting sun and the many candles used to light this wonderful space.
The wonderful thing about Middleton Lodge either the main house or the Fig House, is the amazing opportunities for photography, whether, outside in the amazing and private walled gardens or inside the beautifully furnished accomodation, it does not disappoint.
Charlotte's wedding dress was from the amazing Wedding Dress Company which was complimented with the stunning wedding flowers supplied by the super talented Diana Kaye.
Wedding Ceremony Time.
With the time for the ceremony fast approaching the wedding guests and the most important man arrived. Sam it has to be said, was slightly nervous - just a little bit.
After that fabulous moment of Charlotte's dad seeing her for the first time (which we love so much) we witnessed the most wonderful and atmospheric wedding ceremony.
And then after the paperwork was all signed and official.
It was time to lead the wedding party out as Mr & Mrs.
Many congratulations to Charlotte and Sam we loved being there with you.
Wedding Cake.
Charlotte and Sam's beautiful wedding cake was supplied by the very talented Tallulah's Bakery.
Then there was just time for a sparkler send off and some time with the happy couple for some wedding photographs crafted especially for them.
Thank you.
Congratulations and a huge thank you to Charlotte and Sam for allowing us to be there with you on your wonderful intimate wedding day.
