Carberry Tower Hotel Wedding Photographer.
Amy and David, their fairytale wedding at Carberry Towers.
What better place to hold your Beauty and The Beast themed wedding celebrations than at. That is exactly what Amy and David did after finding Carberry Tower Mansion during a visit to Scotland. They found that Carberry Towers, would be the perfect fit for them.
The venue.
One of the great Castle Mansion Houses of Scotland, Carberry Tower is a multi-award winning, luxury 4 star Castle hotel which can be found just outside Edinburgh in beautiful East Lothian countryside.
Standing regally in 40 acres of stunning, private Estate parkland and widely recognised as Edinburgh’s ‘Castle in the country,’ Carberry Tower is a place of intimate grandeur and to arrive here, is to weave your own story into a history that goes back to 1480 when our first foundation stone was laid.
Since then, we have been a gathering place for Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses and over the centuries, the great and the good have all come to warm themselves by our fires and feast from our banqueting tables.
A gorgeous sunny and bright day greeted us all on the day of the wedding and it was all hands on deck with putting the final finishing touches together for their big day ahead. David possesses an amazing talent for making things and had made all of the table centres and place settings himself – of course they were all themed around Beauty and the Beast including a fulling working Cogsworth and not forgetting the magic mirror.
The staging of the room was amazing, and showed off David’s craftsmanship and skill, none of the centerpieces would have looked out of place on the actual movie set.
The preparations.
It’s always good when someone is watching that the shoes are going on OK.
The wedding ceremony.
Amy looked stunning as she made her way down the stairs followed by a short walk through the estate to the nearby ceremony room on the estate, where David and the wedding guests were waiting. The ceremony was full of laughter, tears and of course a ring bearing owl and a lovely exchange of red roses. Vows were said and the rings were exchanged and then it was off to celebrate this amazing occasion with their family and friends.
The photographs
Before the evening reception got underway guests were entertained and amazed by the mind reading skills of Kennedy, and we are still wondering how he did it.
And then as the sun started to set on a truly fabulous day it was time to grab a few photographs including the one where the rainbow came out.
Carberry Towers is a beautiful venue to host your wedding celebrations, we were thrilled that Amy & David asked us to photograph and tell their wedding day story for them.
