Solberge Hall Wedding Photography | Alice and David | And Ever After Photography
Solberge Hall Wedding Photography by And Ever After Photography.
We knew we were in for a fun day when Alice and David told us their wedding was themed around Alice in Wonderland. It turned out to be a perfect backdrop for their big day. We arrived bright and early at Alice’s house to photograph her and her bridesmaids getting ready. Dad was on hand to make the coffee and bucks fizz while the hairdresser and Alice’s cousin worked their magic on Alice. All too soon the white Rolls Royce had arrived to whisk everyone off to Solberge Hall where David was waiting patiently for his bride to arrive. Alice did not want to be late for a very important date.
With the vows spoken and the ceremony over it was time to start the celebrations. The weather was kind and as the sun shone some of the guests managed a game of croquet on the lawn at Solberge Hall. The grounds of the Hall looked beautiful as Alice and David stole five minutes away from everyone whilst we took some photographs of them both.
Then it was into the Hambleton Suite for the wedding breakfast. The Alice in Wonderland Theme continued as the little bottles of ‘drink me’ sloe whiskey and ‘eat me’ chocolates were table gifts for Alice and David’s guests. The speeches of course were funny and emotional and it has to be said an odd tear was shed by some. In no time at all the evening guests had arrived and Alice and David were cutting their wedding cake and having their first dance to a song that Sammi, the bride’s sister played and sang for them.
No mad hatter or white rabbit was harmed in the production of this fabulous wedding day.
